This small to large sized, hot to warm growing, epiphytic species is from the Philippines at elevations of sea-level to 300m with elongated, branching, white roots produced all along the erect, leafy towards the apex stem carrying distichous, coriaceous, oblong to oblong-ovate, retuse, mucronate, carinate leaves stem and blooms on an axillary, short, racemose inflorescence with 1 or 2 fragrant, fleshy flowers occurring in the spring and summer.
