| Found in the Arfak Mountains of Papua New Guinea as a unifoliate epiphyte at elevations of 50 to 400 meters in rainforests, farmland margins and river valleys on tree branches that has an ascending growth habit, pseudobulbs that are 2.5cm apart on the rhizome and blooms in the late winter and spring as well as late summer and fall on a to 14cm long, stout inflorescence with triangular bracts and with a solitary flower held well above the leaves.
