Found in Costa Rica and Panama at elevations around 650 to 1800 meters as a mini-miniature sized hot to warm growing epiphyte with filiform, flexuous, glabrous ramicauls enveloped basally by 2 pale brown sheaths and carrying a single apical, erect, coriaceous, narrowly ligulate, minutely apiculate, gradually narrowing below into the base leaf that blooms in the spring on an erect, compressed, secund, 5cm long, racemose, subdensely many flowered.
